Report squirrel sightings

We have both squirrel types in our network area and we rely on observant enthusiasts to keep their eyes open for an up-to-date status.

All logged sightings of both red and grey squirrels in Scotland are accessible, by anyone, via the main SSRS website (see button below)

You can add your own sightings (both reds and greys) via the interactive map. And if you're interested in how sightings have changed over the years since the Saving Scotland's Red Squirrels project began you can see that too.

If you register on the site (we call it 'the hub') all of your sightings will be available to you.
