About this event

  • 3 hours

  • Mobile eTicket

We will be meeting at 12:00 in the cafe in the courtyard of Bowhill House where you can find out more about red squirrels and how we are helping them in the Scottish Borders. We will take a walk in the grounds of Bowhill up to Newark castle where we will look for feeding signs, set up a feeding station and trail cameras to monitor squirrels and hopefully see some squirrels too.

The walk is approximately 1.5 miles each way and sensible footwear and clothing is advised. The ground may be uneven in areas and we will be walking through woodland. Assistance is available for those with limited mobility About the organiser Organised by Central Borders Red Squirrel Network
