NOTE - RESCHEDULED. CBRSN only able to attend on Sunday 12th. Apple Festival is held each autumn at the Woodside Plant Centre near Ancrum. BOG runs this event jointly with Emma and Steve and the Woodside staff and it makes an enjoyable and informative day.

About The Event
Message from the organisers
Central to the Saturday and Sunday is the magnificent display of apples donated by Andrew McCarthy and Graham Ward from their renowned orchard, originally developed by Alec West. We’ll have folk standing by to help identify those anonymous apples from your garden.
BOG sells apples from members’ gardens in aid of charities with local links – so please do bring any surplus apples along on the day, or ask us to pick them up.
We also run a juicing stall, a home baking stall and a tasting table with recipes using apples. There will also be stall selling lots of local produce such as honey, jams, chutneys and cheese.
There are children’s activities of course; it’s rumoured that William Tell will be visiting us again this year.
